Fundalucia Guesthouse - Quentar

This place is a cozy spot overlooking the mountains. Our room even had a bathtub - a nice touch! the staff were really friendly and the location was amazing, nestled in the high mountains 🏔️.

Everything about this small hotel was great. The staff was fairly friendly and helped make our 2 days stay an AWESOME experience. We got an apartment, it was comfy. Its location in Quentar was stunning, very close to nice hikes in the area, mountains, and the center of pictoresque village.

Enchanting Setting: Nestled in the Sacromonte quarter, Fundalucia offers an unforgettable experience in cave houses with breathtaking views over the Alhambra. It's like living in a fairytale, surrounded by the magic of Granada's historic charm.

Steps & Mobility: Due to its hillside location, there are some steps both inside and in the garden. Mobility-impaired guests might find it challenging, but these steps add to the unique character of the place.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. the room was very clean and had 3 comfortable beds. - the restaurant offered delicious local dishes. - We can't wait to visit again.

The pool was great, and there was parking nearby; the room and bathroom were clean and had a shower, hairdryer, and towels, plus the location was close to nature and mountains.

Charming cave houses with impressive Alhambra views. Granada's varied cycling opportunities are delightful. Don't forget to taste the tropical fruits in Almunecar. Flamenco performances by passionate gypsies are a must. Conveniently close to Granada, Alhambra, and Sierra Nevada. Tip: Hike early or hydrate well.

Stayed in a charming village with picturesque views. The hostel had cozy rooms and a serene garden with a pool. The local experience was enhanced by friendly neighbors and a cute pet tortoise. Wish I could have stayed longer!

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendliest staff who made me feel right at home. The cozy dorm room, with its comfortable beds, was more than I could have asked for. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was even a little grocery store nearby for any essentials I needed. The cleanliness and comfort of the entire hostel was top-notch. The beautiful gardens and stunning views added to the overall charm of the place. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a huge plus, and the outdoor dining area was perfect for enjoying a meal with fellow travelers. The seasonal outdoor pool was a refreshing treat, especially on those hot summer days. I also appreciated the option of off-site car park for those who are traveling by car. The flat-screen TV, dryer, and all the cookware and kitchen utensils provided made my stay even more convenient. And if you're into outdoor activities, this place is perfect with options for hiking and cycling nearby. The sun loungers and beach umbrellas were great for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Plus, the fact that no pets were allowed ensured a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. If you're a smoker, you'll love that there are designated areas where you can indulge. my stay at this hostel was nothing short of amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a super cozy and affordable accommodation option.

The rooms at Fundalucia are simply charming! I stayed in one with a shared bathroom, and it felt like a cozy home away from home. The rustic decor and comfy bed made me feel instantly relaxed. As a budget traveler, I appreciated the affordable price and the opportunity to meet other guests.

Personally, I found the layout of the piled up houses a bit confusing. But hey, that's just me!

Felt completely at ease, no reason to complain.

I felt welcomed and at home. The private room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. The kitchen facilities were excellent, providing everything I needed to prepare delicious meals. I also had the opportunity to dine at the fantastic restaurant in the village with delicious local cuisine. The location of Fundalucia was perfect for hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including a beautiful lake where I could swim in the clear blue water. The peaceful and friendly atmosphere, along with the adorable pet tortoise that roamed the garden, made my stay special. I only wish I had more time to spend here, but I will definitely be back! Fundalucia is a wonderful place to stay.

While I had a fantastic stay overall, there were a few minor drawbacks.

I chose Fundalucia Bed & Breakfast specifically for its location near Quentar, as I wanted to explore the XVI century church in the center. However, upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful garden area and the refreshing swimming pool. Additionally, the free Wifi access and complimentary tea and coffee were a nice touch.

Difficult to find using google maps, extremely narrow streets. Make sure you check their own website for the directions to the property.
